Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 July 2026

By using e-OCI Wallet (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

This is a starting template, not legal advice. Please have a qualified professional review and adapt it — including the governing-law section — before you publish or sell subscriptions.

1. What the Service is

e-OCI Wallet is an independent tool that stores a personal, convenience copy of your OCI card. Your physical OCI card remains the only official document. The Service, including any eligibility guidance, is provided for convenience and is not legal advice. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Government of India or any government authority.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you add and for keeping your login credentials and app-lock PIN secure. You must be legally able to enter into these terms.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service unlawfully, upload data you have no right to, attempt to breach its security, or use it to impersonate another person.

4. Plans, payments & coupons

5. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that stored data will be error-free or continuously available, and you remain responsible for retaining your official documents. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction [to be specified].
